QC Compounding

QC Compounding, Inc is a pharmacy focusing on patients with special medication requirements.  We provide alternatives in hormone replacement therapy, alternative dosage forms such as transdermal gels, and medications for pets in a variety of dosage forms and flavors.  The ultimate goal in preparing any of these customized medications is to improve patient compliance.

We also provide home-based intravenous and subcutaneous infusion medications and supplies.  Home delivered infusion therapies include antibiotics, enteral nutrition, total parenteral nutrition, hydration, chelation, and pain management.

Reasons for compounding:

There are many reasons why patients need specially compounded medications.  Many patients are allergic to preservatives or dyes, or need a specific strength of medication that is not commercially available, or the patient cannot or will not take the medication for a variety of reasons.  With a physician’s order, our compounding pharmacists can change the strength of a medication, alter its form to make it easier for the patient to ingest, or add flavor to make it taste better.
